What is the Innovation Center?

The new Whitewater Innovation Center is a mixed-use business incubation center designed to provide startup businesses the opportunity to successfully grow their business.  The Innovation Center offers many resources from the University, including, but not limited to, business organization and planning, marketing, promotion, sales, commercialization and product development, and business operations and consulting. 

Where is the Innovation Center?

The Innovation Center is located in the new Whitewater-University Technology Park at 1221 Innovation Drive, Whitewater, Wisconsin. 

Who owns the Innovation Center?

The Innovation Center is owned by the City of Whitewater, and managed by the Whitewater-University Technology Park Board, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 

What is the State of Ingenuity [SOI]?

The State of Ingenuity is a six-county regional collaborative that provides comprehensive entrepreneurial support at every stage of business development.  Counties in the partnership include Kenosha, Racine, Rock and Walworth counties in southeast Wisconsin and Boone and Winnebago counties in northeast Illinois.  Additional information regarding the State of Ingenuity is available on this website.
