The Elements for Success Seminar Series is a series of seminars held on the first Thursday of the month at 5:00 pm at the Whitewater University Technology Park Innovation Center and features experts on areas of interest to local and regional business owners and entrepreneurs. Topics may range from startup basics to protecting intellectual property. The events are FREE and open to the public! Each event features a Meetup networking opportunity and free refreshments.

With the experience of successfully creating two start-up businesses and managing them along with a third, our speaker has developed a strong foundation for building success.  As the Founder of Entre Funding, he has successfully worked with many companies in the region to achieve funding through many small investors, “Crowdfunding,” rather than through traditional funding sources.  Mr. Wachowiak will share those experiences with our audience as well as four cornerstone principles.  These cornerstones are Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Promotions and Event Planning, and Execution.

It is critical that entrepreneurs and business owners understand their customers and how they behave. Dr. Boostrom will detail the various stages of the process through which consumers go when considering purchases. Understanding this process allows entrepreneurs and business owners to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their marketing efforts.

Dr. Boostrom has over a decade in the industry working for companies such as Sprint Telecommunications, and Crate and Barrel. Dr. Boostrom now works as an assistant professor of marketing and as an iMentor in the University’s Innovation Hub (iHUB) program.
