Program Information

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks proposals for projects that establish or build upon previously developed partnerships/collaborations with area schools, school districts, or foster mutually beneficial relationships between UW-Whitewater and the Cooperative Educational Service Agency #2.

All proposals should have the broader intentions of improving PK-12 student learning, the professional development of educators and/or administrators, and the performance of area schools. Proposals that focus on the following will be given special consideration:

  • Implementation of Common Core State Standards (particularly in math and reading);
  • Curriculum redesign and assessment initiatives that promote the development of 21st Century Skills;
  • Development of innovative partnerships or programs in the areas of globalization, use of technology, and meeting the needs of diverse K-12 student populations; and/or
  • Proposals that align with the 2012-2014 CESA #2 / University of Wisconsin-Whitewater strategic planning goals.

  • Applicants must submit one original hard copy of the proposal to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (2243 Andersen Library) by 4:30 pm on the deadline. 
  • The narrative must also be submitted electronically via e-mail to Denise Ehlen, Director of Research and Sponsored Programs (ehlend@uww.edu, 262.472.5212). 
  • Proposals should be submitted to the department chairs and college deans in time to allow adequate review in advance of the application deadline.
