The WiSys Technology Foundation, Inc. [WiSys], through the WiSys Technology Advancement Grant [WiTAG], seeks pre-proposals for projects aimed at stimulating research and development that will lead to long-term extramural funding with direct intellectual property potential. Pre-proposals may be submitted at any time.

The WiTAG program has the following objectives:

• Develop a scientific theme and establish a long-term program;
• Collect validation data to support intellectual property and extramural funding;
• Obtain release time for faculty to conduct research and development;
• Hire post-doctoral fellows and research assistants; and
• Develop high value intellectual property and marketable products or processes.

Program Deadline: OPEN [Pre-Proposals]

Faculty and staff interested in pursuing WiTAG funds should submit the pre-proposal to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs prior to submission to the sponsor.
