The University of Wisconsin System and WiSys Technology Foundation, in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, offer limited funds to support faculty/staff reassigned time to write extramural grant applications of $50,000 or more.  The maximum award is $3,500 for stipend or replacement costs.

Funding may be requested for any discipline, but preference will be given for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics applications.  Recipients must agree to prepare and submit a full proposal to the extramural agency by the extramural grant deadline.  A copy of the extramural application must be submitted to WiSys, which will maintain confidentiality of the grant application and contact the recipient regarding appropriate intellectual property protection.
