Diversity Program Development
The University of Wisconsin-Extension seeks proposals to provide start-up support for new ventures that are consistent with the Extension goals and initiatives through the Diversity Program Development Initiative [DPDI]. Funds are intended to assist University of Wisconsin institutions in developing and implementing pilot programs that advance diversity and inclusivity.
Participation in this program is limited to the Division of Continuing Education, Outreach and E-Learning's campus-based partners throughout the University of Wisconsin System and the Division's internal units and the School for Workers. To qualify for consideration as a DPDI, the UW institutional applicant must have a community partner with credibility in the target community(ies). Programs may include partnerships with other UW-Extension divisions or UW Colleges, but for purposes of this grant, they are not considered a community partner.
Applications must be submitted online at http://www.uwex.edu/ics/cegrant/grantapp.cfm. Applications must be submitted by the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education. Applicants must submit their proposal to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for internal review and signature prior to submission to the sponsor.
