I-Grants 

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, UW System, and other UW institutions support a broad range of scholarly activity through I-Grants.  Funds support to scholars in all stages of their careers and often serve as a critical source of support for individual work, department/unit priorities, college/division strategies, and institutional initiatives.

UW-Whitewater Grants

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater offers a variety of faculty, staff, and student grants.  Funds support research and scholarly activity; curriculum and/or program development; entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial activities; initiatives focused on inclusive excellence; undergraduate and graduate student research; and/or other proposals that align with the campus’ strategic plan, mission, values, and vision.  

UW System Grants

Faculty and staff at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater may apply for funding from the University of Wisconsin System to support a variety of projects.  Funding from the University of Wisconsin System typically provides grants for projects that align with key initiatives and/or plans, such as the Growth Agenda for Wisconsin or the principles of Inclusive Excellence.  Access grant program information, the "request for proposals," forms, and other resources. 

Other Affiliated Programs

Additional grants are offered by other sponsors affiliated with the University of Wisconsin System.  These grants provide funding for faculty, staff, and students engaged in research or scholarly activity on diversity; community development; business and economics; humanities; environmental sciences and education; and space sciences.   Faculty, staff, and students can link to program information/forms and other resources.
