Pre-Award Policies/Forms

In addition to sponsor-specific policies and procedures that govern a proposal submission, faculty and staff must adhere to additional institutional, federal, and/or state regulations for all sponsored projects at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Staff in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will assist principal investigators in navigating the complex regulatory environment during the proposal development process.

Post-Award Policies/Forms

Financial Services will provide principal investigators with assistance on financial and regulatory manners after a project has been awarded. Additional guidance on institutional, federal, and state policies and procedures is also available.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater subscribes to a number of services to assist faculty and staff with the identification of potential federal, state, local government, and private foundation sponsors.

The United States government has a number of portals for citizens to obtain information on federal funding opportunities.

Private Funding Resources

Funding identification resources are available for faculty and staff interested in obtaining information on private foundations, which typically consist of individual, family, and community foundations.
